9 YEARS
working together
GeoSim needed highly specialized 3D engineers who were difficult to find and even harder to replace. We built the team in India and supported it for nine years, preserving years of technical knowledge and experience.

Junior to senior; 3ds Max artists for modelling, rendering and texturing
GeoSim’s product ran on knowledge that took years to build, held by people who were very hard to replace.
GeoSim created detailed 3D digital models of cities and physical environments, used in urban planning and real estate. That meant architectural 3D modellers with deep 3ds Max expertise and strong rendering and texturing skills, and the pool of people who had all of that was small. Every departure would take years of product knowledge with it, and every replacement meant starting over.
It needed the right people, and it needed them to stay.
Hiring was the start. Keeping them was the job.
TeamScale built a recruitment and assessment process around GeoSim’s specific roles, testing for the architectural modelling, rendering and texturing skills the work demanded. Every candidate passed technical and personal assessments first, so GeoSim met only people who were truly relevant.
The team started in TeamScale’s offices in India and later moved to a hybrid model, with dedicated IT infrastructure for GeoSim’s systems. TeamScale ran the employment, HR, IT and equipment around it.
Then came the long part. We stayed close to the people themselves for the whole partnership, supporting their engagement and their development. With knowledge this specialized, retention is more than an HR metric: it is how a company keeps what it has spent years building.
“Close to a decade later, most of that original team is still with us, a rare achievement in any industry.”
Tomer, Project Manager, GeoSim
Nine years. Most of the original team.
Nine years after the first hires, most of the original team was still there, with very limited turnover along the way.
That continuity gave GeoSim something hard to recreate: people who knew the technology, understood the product and had years of experience working together. The team became part of the company’s institutional knowledge.
The partnership ran until 2025, when GeoSim ceased its global operations following major technological changes in its market.
