It started with our own hiring problem
In 2010, Amir Zeltzer wasn’t trying to start a services company. He was running a technology company in the US, and he needed engineers.
He found them in India. Then he found out that finding them was only the beginning. How do you assess the right people, employ them, and make a team on the other side of the world work as part of the company back home?
There was no playbook, so he wrote one, one team at a time.
In 2014 the startup was sold. Amir was left with something he had never set out to create: a proven way to make teams in India work. And he saw other technology companies starting from zero, just as he had.
So he built the company he wished he’d had on day one. That became TeamScale.

After 15 years of doing this, we know how much has to happen around a team. Finding the engineers is one part. Then there is employment, contracts, payroll, office space, equipment, HR, retention and everything else that keeps the operation running.
That’s why TeamScale grew into an end-to-end operation around the teams we build. We build the people and everything around them.

India has changed dramatically since we started. The technology ecosystem is bigger. The talent market is deeper. Global companies are building increasingly sophisticated R&D organizations here.
We’ve been here through all of it. We’ve built teams across software engineering, AI, data, cybersecurity and other technical disciplines. We’ve seen companies start with a small team and grow it into a major R&D operation. And we’ve learned what it takes to make those teams work for the long term. That experience is built into TeamScale.
